DOGMAS! AND CATMAS! FEAST

Dogmas! Dinner
Serves 8-10 Dogs with leftovers!

Main Course

3 cups organic brown rice
5 cups water
2 pounds pasture raised organic ground chicken, turkey, pork or beef
3 ten-ounce bags of frozen organic mixed vegetables
(green beans, peas, carrots and corn)
6 to 8 pasture raised eggs

Layer all ingredients, except eggs, into a rice cooker and turn on. It takes about 1 hour to cook. When the cooker turns off, transfer the cooked mixture into a large bowl. Working quickly while it is still very hot, crack eggs into the mixture and stir to “cook.”
Cool and serve. Or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator or freezer. Use within two weeks.

Dogmas! Liver Brownies

1 lb pasture raised organic liver, any kind (chicken, turkey, pork, beef)
1-2 pasture raised eggs
2-3 grated organic carrots
1 cup corn meal
1 1/2 cups 100% whole wheat flour
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. fennel or anise seed
1/2 tsp. sea salt

Rinse liver and pat dry with a paper towel. Cut into small chunks and then grind in a blender or food processor. In a large bowl mix the ground liver and the remaining ingredients except the flour. Add the flour gradually. Spread the mixture on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes and cut into squares. Serve, refrigerate, or freeze.

After Dinner Sweet Potato Doggie Chew (or appetizer)

4-5 organic yams or sweet potatoes

Wash the potatoes and cut down the middle lengthwise. Cut long lengthwise slices about 1/3 of an inch wide and place them in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Put in the oven at 250 degrees for about 3 hours. Cool and serve.

Yum Yum Catmas! Dinner
Serves 8-10 Cats with leftovers!

Catmas! Main Course

1 1/3 cups cottage cheese
1/2 cup cooked organic brown rice
8 chicken livers, cooked in water, drained and chopped
4 TB. extra virgin olive oil
Pinch sea salt


Mix all ingredients together well. Serve or refrigerate in an airtight container.

Cheesy Kitty Appetizers

4 TB. butter (room temperature)
1 1/4 cups 100% whole wheat flour
1/4 cup warm water
5 TB. fresh grated parmesan cheese

In a bowl combine water, cheese and butter. Mix in whole wheat flour. Roll to 1/4" thick. With a cookie cutter make very small shapes. Bake at 300 degrees for 20-25 minutes (until light golden brown) on an un-greased cookie sheet.

Kool Kat Kookies

7 oz. mashed sardines
1 tsp. brewer's yeast
1/2 cup wheat germ

Mix ingredients and roll into 24 small balls. Place on greased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork. Bake at 350 degrees until brown. Serve or refrigerate in an airtight container.
